Overview

Is the Glen Onoko Falls trail in Jim Thorpe closed? Parts of the trail are open, but the path that was adjacent to the falls and contained the views of the waterfalls is now closed. The trail is closed due to unsafe hiking conditions. There are, however, several trails quite near to the waterfalls that are still open. The trail loop below starts from the same access area and will bring you to the beautiful overlook depicted below. Although short, this trail contains a lot of elevation gain and can make for a tough day for those not used to hiking steep hills.
