A weekend mountain biking in Barcelona, Spain - a rugged and sunny break to the long Czech winter. The first day I got directly off the plane and headed for the hills just west of the city - Collserola. The second day, including the best riding, took us further west into Mont L'Obac where views of Montserrat were always in view. We then wound down with a nice trip heading north along the coast toward Costa Brava. Truly an outstanding area of natural beauty - Kokořín is just 1 hour from Prague and full of rock landscapes like no place I've been. We did a solid 60km route from Melnik while the leaves were mostly off the trees making for a near surflike experience on the bikes. Solo (Mountain) Bikepacking Across the Czech Republic to Slovakia I loaded up the #canyon #lux with #bikepacking gear and took it across the Czech Republic from my apartment in Prague to the Slovakian border. I did my best to hit primarily #mtb #trails and see some of the Czech countryside. I used a #bigagnes tent which worked beautifully with the bike setup.
